Were sales targets indicated? How much time did you spend focused on views, clicks and downloads? Phrases like “screen time” and “customer engagement” could also pepper your corporate conversation. What are you doing with the data you are collecting?
The online commerce, entertainment and networking options that exploded in 2020 continued to grow in 2021 and will expand further in 2022. Do not file the spreadsheets and relegate your graphs to a binder. Backtracking to 2019 may seem like a timehop, but after two years of “not normal,” 2022 projections require reflection on learned lessons to establish educated expectations.
